Nothing about Le SCRAWL has changed, they are still spewing out a delightfully twisted take on grindcore, it's just that in the past several years countless bands have emerged that do revolutionary things with the original grindcore sound and many of those bands have nailed a sound that is more invigorating than Le SCRAWL. But much to my surprise and dismay, when I put the CD on, I wasn't thrilled, pleased, or even bowled over. I was even more pleased when I noticed that it was produced by Harris Johns, one of my favorite knob turners. So I was thrilled when a copy of the 'Eager to Please' CD found its way into my review pile.
